Sales and Account Manager

Your role as a Sales and Account Manager is to support the company’s sales force by organizing activities, removing barriers in our pipeline of opportunities, and onboarding new accounts. You will play an integral part on our Merchant Success team by providing our clients the support they need. Throughout the process you will report to the Chief Business Development Officer, providing support to sales related activities, utilizing Salesforce to ensure information is properly registered and updated, and managing on-boarding projects through constant communication with other teams. You will be exposed to a fast-paced environment and will have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside our team and the company as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage company sales initiatives
  • Participate in sales calls and meetings
  • Prepare new business proposals
  • Conduct product demos for prospective clients
  • Nurture leads and opportunities
  • Utilize Salesforce to log all sales and account activities
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings
  • Create and update client related documentation
  • Develop up-selling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients
  • Visit client store locations
  • Craft project plans to onboard new accounts
  • Conduct internal presentations on any suggestion of process improvements and manage implementation
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

Required Skills

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Sales or Account Management
  • Be a graduate of Commerce or Business Administration program (or related)
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while paying strict attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Beneficial Skills

  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Knowledge of the retail industry (general retail, QSR, grocery, gas and convenience)
